So the guys at Zilu sent us a car mount to review. As you guys know we never turn down an opportunity to be corporate shills so let’s get the review shall we?

Car mounts come in all different shapes, sizes, and types. The one that Zilu sent us is one of those magnetic ones where you put a piece of metal on the back of your phone and then you can easily attach and detach the phone from the mount. Personally, we really like this function. Putting it on and taking it off is so quick and easy. Not only that we really like the strength of the suction cup. It sticks to the window very well and also allows you to keep your field of vision on the road in front of you, instead of looking down somewhere else.

There is one thing we feel we need to mention. The mount does not pass Review Meta. A lot of the reviews are flagged, and the reviews that appear legit pull the rating down from 4.5 to 3.7. This doesn’t necessarily mean the product is bad, after all our experience was a positive one. We just also feel that we need to do our due diligence to you as our audience. That said it’s still only $12, so it’s really hard to go wrong with a price tag that low. We do recommend that you double check before buying and read through some of the Amazon reviews to see if it’s worth it.
