It's been a year since I've mounted the magnetic car mount onto my dashboard using the Gorilla tape. After literally spending hours in the hot sun, it's still sticking! I pull on the mount pretty hard and it still doesn't budge. This tape is a must have for anyone with a magnetic mount. Use it instead of the tape that came with your mount.
