I was using the iPhone XS almost exclusively since it launched over six months ago, but three weeks back I switched to the iPhone XR...and I realized that it's almost just as great a phone as the XS is on its best day. The out-of-this-world battery life on the iPhone XR has entirely won me over and I didn't mind the lower quality screen or single camera setup unless I had the XS right next to me (for comparison). And as for 3D Touch...we'll I've entirely forgotten about it. For $749, the iPhone XR is a great value; for $999 the iPhone XS is just too pricey for most people.
