We got our hands on the Moto Z & Moto Z Play smartphones along with some of the mods like the Hasselblad True Zoom Mod, the JBL Sound Boost Mod & the Moto Instashare Projector Mod to name a few. At 5.19mm's the Moto Z is one of the worlds slimmest smartphones and it's designed like that because it's meant to have one of the mods attach onto it via a 23 Karat gold 16-pin connector. The mods are all hot-swappable. This means they can be replaced without turning off the phone.

The Moto Z runs on the Snapdragon 820 SoC & the Moto Z Play has the Snapdragon 625 SoC. Both phones have 32GB internal storage, which is expandable. The Moto Z has 4GB of RAM & the Moto Z Play
has 3GB of RAM. The Moto Z Play has a 16MP camera, while the
Moto Z has a 13MP sensor. The Moto Z Play has a 3500mAh battery & the Moto Z has a 2600mAh battery. The Moto Z Play has a glass back & the Moto Z has a metallic back. The Moto Z Play has a headphone jack & the Moto Z does not have a headphone jack.The Moto Z has a USB-Type C adaptor to use regular headphones.

Both Moto Z and Moto Z Play have 5.5 inch displays. The Moto Z has a QHD Display. The Moto Z Play has a 1080p FHD Display

The Moto Z will be priced at Rs. 39,999, while the Moto Z Play will cost Rs. 24,999.

Further, the JBL Soundboost will sell at Rs. 6,999, while the Hasselblad True Zoom will cost Rs. 19,999. The Insta-Share projector mod also costs Rs. 19,999 and the Incipio battery packs cost Rs. 5,999. The wooden shells will be priced at Rs. 1,099 and Rs. 1,599.

It is worth noting that these prices will be discounted at launch. The JBL Soundboost will cost Rs. 5,999, while the Hasselblad True Zoom will be available at Rs. 14,999. You can also get the shells at Rs. 899 and Rs. 1,299 respectively, while the projector will be available at Rs. 15,999.

Both the phones will be sold from October 17, midnight. The phones will be sold on both Flipkart and Amazon. Consumers will get one style shell free with their devices.
