Go to http://bby.me/uxg9f to shop the extensive selection of Samsung TVs, choosing from 4K Ultra HD TVs, Smart TVs, Curved TVs and LED TVs, to optimize your viewing entertainment. Watch this video to get help removing your new Samsung television from its packaging without damage, so you can start enjoying it right away. Don’t want to watch the video? Here is the transcription: Congratulations on purchasing a new Samsung TV. This video will walk you through the steps to remove your new TV from its packaging, without damage, so you can start enjoying it right away. If you watch this video and follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully, you will avoid common mistakes like pinching the screen, which can easily cause it to crack. Your TV may not be the exact model shown in this video, but just like the box shown here, your box is designed for opening the top and lifting the TV out. For TVs larger than 32 inches, we always recommend using two people. Also, be sure to prepare a soft clean surface, like a table covered by a blanket or towel, that's large enough to lay your TV onto, before lifting the TV from the box. On the top flap, you'll see graphics of handling and unboxing instructions, including a reminder to never pinch the screen, and to hold the TV by the edges. Start by using a box cutter or sharp knife to cut the tape on the top of the box. With the top open, remove the Quick Start guide and look for accessories like instruction manuals, remote controls, and batteries, or anything else that can be removed. Take all of that out and set aside. Remove the top cushion and any other accessible packing. If you find other accessories, such as cables or the TV stand, set those aside as well. Your new TV is fragile and pinching the screen can easily cause the glass to crack. Certain models use padding or screen covers to help prevent damage. Do not remove padding or screen protection until setup is complete and the TV is positioned in its final viewing location. You've probably been told to never lay your TV flat. That's true during transportation and unboxing, but now that we're onto attaching the stand, you will need to lay it flat per the included instructions, which may include padding to support curved TVs. Once you've lifted the TV out of the box, set it face down on the soft clean surface you prepared. Samsung TVs have several stands styles. Be sure to follow the instructions in your stand assembly or Quick Start guide. Be aware that with some models you'll need to pre-assemble parts of the stand. You may also need to install the power cable and the OC, or one connection cable, before attaching the stand. Use the provided hardware and remember not to over-tighten screws. With your stand securely attached, lift the TV using a grip similar to what you use to lift the TV from its box. Place it upright on the console you're going to use. Now you can remove remaining protective materials, and begin enjoying your new TV. If you're going to mount your TV, be sure to use a kit that matches your TV's size and weight, and anchor it securely into the wall. If you have questions about these instructions, contact Samsung at 1-800-SAMSUNG or online at Samsung.com/support.
