You don't need to buy a fancy, expensive camera to make YouTube Videos. You can just use your smartphone. The most important thing is audio quality so people can hear what you have to say, clearly and crisply. External audio that you can plug into your phone such as a $25 Tak-Star Shotgun Mic or a 15$ Dynamic Mic could work perfectly (even just earbuds with a mic). Just use a good light source and start making videos. This was recorded entirely on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (2 year old phone) in 4k downscaled to 1080p, but you can just record in 1080p, it honestly doesn't make much difference. I have a canon Rebel t7i (800d) but honestly the resolution coming from this is much better. I think I'll sell my camera and just use my phone from now on.
